Duties and Responsibilities

1. Undertaking disease control activities such as disease search, vaccination, and enforcement of livestock movement regulations
2. Participate in training of stakeholders in vector control programmes
3. Treating sick animals
4. Advising on good Animal Health practices
5. Collecting data and preparing reports on animal health, products, and markets
6. Providing advice on animal breeding/welfare
7. Undertaking post-mortem examination and other diagnostic tests

Requirements forAppointment

1. Kenyan citizen
2. Diploma in Animal Health from a recognized institution
3. Registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board
4. Computer Literacy
5. At least one-year experience in the relevant field.
