Health Planning and Administration Directorate is responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of healthcare delivery, policy implementation, and resource management. Its functions contribute to the overall effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of healthcare services provided to the population.

In executing its mandate, the directorate engages in Strategic Planning, Resource Allocation, Policy Development, Implementation and Advocacy, Healthcare Infrastructure Management, Human Resource Management, Quality Assurance and Improvement, Health Information Systems, as well as Financial Management, among other roles.
