About Directorate of Human Resource
This is the Directorate that is tasked with promoting a healthy work environment and overseeing the performance management process, which involves setting and committing to performance goals, conducting performance appraisals, and providing feedback and coaching to enable employees to deliver. They also assist in identifying development and training needs to enhance employee performance and career growth.
Upon hiring of staff, HR facilitates the on boarding process ensuring that the new employees have the necessary information, resources, and support to transition into their roles smoothly. This may include conducting orientation programs, explaining County policies and procedures, and providing necessary training. They handle employee grievances, address conflicts, and facilitate communication between employees and the County leadership.
