The County Government of Baringo, through the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Blue Economy, in partnership with the Food Systems Resilience Project, is rolling out an Agripreneur Business Acceleration Model for 18 months. This initiative aims to equip young individuals with the right skills to become successful agricultural entrepreneurs ("Agripreneurs"). Selected Agripreneurs will serve as key change agents, introducing innovative farming technologies, market linkages, and essential resources to local farmers.
The Applications will be accepted from 28th October 2025 to 7th November 2025.
The Eligibility Criteria:
- Post-secondary certificate in Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries
- Aged under 35 years; and
- Resident of the ward from which they are applying.
They should come from one of the Marigat, Lembus, Lembus Kwen, Mukutani, Tirioko, Ribkwo, Silale, Tangulbei, Loyamorok, Kabarnet, Ewalel Chapchap, Barwessa, Saimo Kipsaraman, Kabartonjo, Ravine, and Mumberes/Majimazuri.
