Two projects to install 200l/Min capacity Pressure Swing Adsorption(PSA) Oxygen Plants in Chemolingot and Kabartonjo Sub County Hospitals are setto kick off immediately.
The projects whose site handing over will be done tomorrow,Thursday 13th for Chemolingot Sub County Hospital and Friday 14thfor Kabartonjo Sub County Hospital will be implemented starting Monday 17thJune 2024 and are expected to be completed within the next three months.
The developments, which aim at enhancing the ability of thefacilities to provide high-quality, reliable, and timely medical care,improving overall patient outcomes and operational efficiency is funded by theGlobal Fund and will be executed in signature partnership between the CountyGovernment, the Ministry of health with Amref as the implementing partner.
The County Director for Medical Services Dr. Joseph Kangortoday hosted officials from the Ministry of Health department of HealthProducts and Technologies led by Richard Gatukui, Amrefs Biomedical EngineerJoshua Mutwiri as well as Debra Limiteds (Contractor) Technical Director HillaryKosgei. The team held an entry meeting ahead of the handover of the twinprojects Thursday 13th at Chemolingot Sub County Hospital and Friday14th at Kabartonjo Sub County Hospital.
